James Tennyson powered to a seriously impressive victory over Josh O'Reilly in their WBA world title eliminator at the Wembley Arena on Friday night.
Irish-Canadian O'Reilly came into this one undefeated in 16 fights since turning professional in 2014 but he was overwhelmed by the Belfast man who had the bout won on a technical knockout decision in little over two minutes.
The 27-year-old Tennyson has now stopped six opponents in a row at lightweight since losing to IBF super featherweight champion Tevin Farmer in October 2018.
He won the British Lightweight Title in August thanks to a clinical sixth-round stoppage win over Gavin Gwynne and can now look forward to a 2021 laced with possibilities.
