Katie Taylor had barely strapped the WBO super lightweight belt around her waist after defeating Christina Linardatou before she was thinking ahead to her 16th professional fight.

The 33-year-old became Ireland's third two-weight world champ with a unanimous points victory over her Greek opponent in Manchester, moving to 15-0 in the process.

Questions had been asked after her narrow, controversial win over Delfine Persoon at lightweight back in June, but Taylor was back to her best - the modest Bray boxer even praising her own performance.

"We knew Christina was the best 140-pounder in the division and we knew this was going to be a tough 10 rounds. I boxed beautifully on the outside and I boxed smart for a change instead of getting stuck in to a fight," Taylor told Sky Sports.

She is eyeing a rematch with Belgian Persoon or the making of the much-anticipated match with Amanda Serrano.

"I dug deep against Persoon and came out with victory and now I am a two-weight world champion. I can't wait for that rematch with Persoon and also a huge, huge fight with Amanda Serrano," said Taylor, who also mentioned a potential bout with undisputed welterweigth champions Amanda Braekhus.

But for now the 2012 Olympian is happy to enjoy Saturday's achievement.

"I am making history again, breaking boundaries again. I am a two-weight world champion and the best is still to come."
