Billy Joe Saunders will face Argentinian Marcelo Esteban Coceres on his American debut in Los Angeles on November 9.
Saunders will put his WBO super-middleweight title on the line for the first time after clinching the vacant title over Shefat Isufi in Stevenage earlier this year.
Coceres has won all 29 of his professional bouts in the super-welterweight and middleweight divisions and previously claimed Latino and Fedebol titles.
Saunders said: "I'm really looking forward to fighting in LA and making my professional American debut.
"Coceres is a tough, world-class operator, an unbeaten fighter and I certainly feel the pressure to out-perform him and look good on such a massive platform."
Saunders' title defence will take place on the undercard of the "celebrity" bout between YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul.
