Michael Nevin's World Elite Championships hopes ended at the last-16 stage on Monday afternoon as the Irish middleweight was squeezed out by Russian Gleb Bakshi.

Nevin showed plenty against the eighth-seeded home favourite but came out the wrong side of a 3-2 split decision.
