Belfast boxer James Tennyson has been handed a big opportunity after becoming a late addition to Vasiliy Lomachenko's undercard this Saturday in London.
Tennyson will box for the WBA International Lightweight Title against Atif Shafiq, who has won 21 of 23 fights at domestic level in England.
The 26-year-old moved to the lightweight division following the defeat to world champion Tevin Farmer at super-featherweight level.
Tennyson beat Garry Neale in Belfast in February and followed it up with a routine victory over Brayan Mairena in two rounds in his home city again in May.
He has now has been added to the show that will see Lomachenko fight Luke Campbell in front of a sold out crowd at the O2 Arena.
