Irish boxing fans are set to look forward to two world title fights on the same card on St Patrick's weekend in Philadelphia.

Katie Taylor has been lined up to try to win another lightweight belt against Delfine Persoon or Rose Volante, while Amanda Serrano and Cecilia Brækhus are also possibilities.

Taylor outpointed and outclassed Eva Wahlstrom on Saturday in New York.

Meanwhile Jono Carroll is set to land his IBF Super-Featherweight World title opportunity against Tevin Farmer.

Carroll’s next bout was unclear following after a split decision draw with Guillaume Frenois last week.

Promoter Eddie Hearn told iFL TV that Carroll will still get this chance: "I think Jono Carroll will be next for Tevin Farmer on Paddy’s Day weekend in Philly. We’ll hopefully announce it next week."

Michael Conlan is also set to fight on that weekend but on a different card in New York that he is likely to headline.
