Katie Taylor is set for confirmation of a quick return to action in Madison Square Garden on 15 December.

Taylor fought on 20 October as she successfully defended her WBA and IBF world titles against Puerto Rican Cindy Serrano in Boston’s TD Gardens.

Promoter Eddie Hearn, speaking yesterday prior to a press conference in Kansas City, confirmed to iFL TV that he was lining up two world title bouts for the undercard of Saul "Canelo" Alvarez vs Rocky Fielding in New York, of which Taylor would probably be one, along with IBF super featherweight belt holder Tevin Farmer.

A bout with recently-turned MMA fighter Amanda Serrano is being lined up for next year, while Jessica McCaskill, who Taylor has already beaten in her professional career in arguably her toughest test to date, recently tied with Hearn.

She won a world super lightweight world belt in September which it's thought the Bray boxer will eventually step up in weight to challenge for.

There is no news yet on a possible opponent for next month's event.
