James Tennyson is set to have an opportunity to become the latest Irish world champion by facing IBF champion Tevin Farmer in Boston in October.
Tennyson won the EBU European super-featherweight and WBA International belts by knocking out Martin Ward in London in May and has been added to the growing Irish interest on this card.
According to ESPN, Tennyson will challenge Farmer in what will be the American's first defence of his belt.
Katie Taylor and Niall Kennedy will also feature as Billy Joe Saunders and Demetrius Andrade headline the 20 October event which is one of the first shows for new US streaming service DAZN.
It will also be broadcast by Sky Sports in Ireland and the UK.
Farmer's promoter Lou DiBella said: "Tevin wanted to be an active champion and fight as often as possible and the deal we were able to work out with Eddie (Hearn) was very favourable to Tevin's career.
"Tennyson will make for an interesting clash of styles. He's a big puncher, Tevin is a supreme boxer. It should be a fun fight."
