Wexford's Niall Kennedy has been added to the bill of Katie Taylor's next fight in Boston in October.
The Gorey heavyweight has a record of 11 wins and one draw in his career to date and has been confirmed for the undercard of the Billy Joe Saunders v Demetrius Andrade fight.
Taylor, the IBF and WBA lightweight champion, will take on Cindy Serrano, the WBO featherweight champ from Puerto Rico, on 20 October at TD Garden, home to the Boston Celtics.
Kennedy, who holds Massachusetts and New England State titles, last fought in June when drawing with Joel Caudle.
After the fight, the 34-year-old said: "Not vintage or even good but feel I definitely done enough [to win]. Thanks to my team, always giving me opportunities, I'll learn and improve from this."
