John Joe Nevin’s long-awaited comeback will take place this month on a card in London.
Nevin saw his planned return to action in September cancelled because of medical licensing issues and complications with a potential opponent.
But he will now fight on 24 November at the Tolworth Recreation Centre in Surbiton on a Hennessy Sports promotion in a six-round lightweight contest.
The Olympic silver medalist turned professional in 2013 but has had a disrupted career in the pro ranks due to injury.
