Carl Frampton has confirmed he will take on Leo Santa Cruz in a mouthwatering rematch.
The Belfast fighter prevailed in a pulsating New York collision last July, claiming the WBA world featherweight belt his mentor Barry McGuigan held 30 years ago with victory over the Mexican.
Santa Cruz had previously been undefeated before 'the Jackal' edged him on points at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
Having moved up in weight, the victory also meant Frampton became only the second Irish fighter to have the gilded status of two-weight champion of the world, alongside Steve Collins.
The Northern Irishman tweeted on Thursday that a rematch was a "done deal", with details of a venue and date to follow.
There had been previous rumours of a January bout in Las Vegas.
Done deal! The rematch vs @leosantacruz2 is on!!! More news to come soon #AndStill
