Jason Quigley stepped up to eight rounds for the first time in his career against Freddy Lopez on Friday night - but the Donegal man barely needed two minutes to claim the tenth win of his pro career in California.
Quigley pelted his Mexican opponent with early body shots, with Lopez going down on his knee a minute in after a hefty right.
The blows kept coming though and after Lopez (9-4-0) slumped to to the canvas a second time, it was all over.
Quigley, 24, has had nine stoppages in his career, with his epic bout with Marchristopher Adkins last November the biggest test he's faced to date.
The Ballybofey man came through on a unanimous decision in Las Vegas then, and after Friday's cruise he now looks destined to step up in class.

The early nature of the victory seemed to surprise the former World Amateur silver medallist but he revealed that attacking Lopez's body had always been the plan.
"I came in with a game plan to take my time. I knew it was my first eight-round fight," Quigley said afterwards.
"I saw a video of this guy and I knew he had a good long jab so he could have made things a little bit awkward. I knew I had to be faster than him, keep my distance and keep him out there.
"Obviously, the plan was to work the body early on to tire him out coming up to the end of the fight.
"That's what I've been learning and practising in the gym. This is professional boxing, it's not amateur any more. You have to work the body, you have to tire these guys out."
