Newly crowned WBO world middleweight champions Andy Lee has returned to Ireland after his title-winning victory over Matt Korobov in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Lee arrived into Shannon Airport shortly after 12:30pm and will be giving a civic reception in his home city of Limerick this evening.
On touching down at Shannon, Lee said: "It's surreal but it's a great feeling all the same.
"It's something I dreamed and fantasised about when I won the title coming back to Shannon and back to Limerick and it's a dream come true.
"It's great and I'm looking forward to seeing everybody. The response I've got so far has been amazing."
A press conference is set to take place approximately 3pm followed by the civic reception at approximately 4.30pm at Limerick City Hall.
The event will be a public one and it's expected the world champion will be available on the steps of City Hall to meet well-wishers at approximately 5.30pm.
