Drimnagh super-heavyweight Sean Turner has replaced the injured Ken Okungbowa for tonight's Ireland versus China international at the Brandon Hotel in Newross, Wexford.
Okungbowa was due to meet 2008 Olympic silver medalist Zhilei Zaifula but had to withdraw after picking up a rib injury.
World lightweight champion Katie Taylor will box for the second time in 24 hours this evening when she meets Cheng Dong in a repeat of the 2008 and 2010 AIBA World finals which Taylor won in China and Barbados.
Taylor looked very sharp in beating Spain's Maria del Carmen Moreno on a unanimous decision on last night's Willie Casey versus Guillermo Rigondeaux card at the Citywest hotel in Dublin.
World Youth and Irish Elite light-heavyweight champion Joe Ward will also be in action this evening.
Tonight's meeting is the first of three Ireland versus China internationals.
Ireland will meet the Asian powerhouses again on Wednesday nights at the Dungarvan Sports Centre in Waterford and at the National Stadium in Dublin next Friday.
Boxing begins at 7.30pm.
