Ireland's European Junior Championships campaign ended on a disappointing note after all Irish five boxers lost their quarter-final bouts in the Ukraine.
Defeats for Dean Walsh, Declan Carlin, Dylan Carr, Robert McGreevey and George Boylan brought the curtain down on Ireland's involvement in the 30-nation tournament.
Walsh was desperately unlucky to lose out to Henrik Mokoyan of Armenia by a one point margin.
Carlin, McGreevey, Boylan and Carr also produced brave displays against formidable opposition at the Sports Centre in the city of Lvov.
Ireland used a nine-man squad in the Ukraine, reduced to eight last Monday after Anthony Coyle picked up a foot injury.
Up to 217 boxers are competing at the Championships across 13 weight categories from 46Kg to 80Kg+.
The Championships conclude on Sunday.
