Wladimir Klitschko will defend his IBF world heavyweight title later this year against Russian Alexander Povetkin.
The fight will take place at the SAP Arena in the German city of Mannheim on 13 December.
Povetkin, Olympic champion in Athens in 2004 and undefeated in 16 professional fights since, is the mandatory IBF challenger.
And Ukrainian Klitschko, who also holds the WBO and IBO heavyweight titles and takes a 51-3 win-loss record into the fight, knows Povetkin will be a fierce opponent.
'Alexander Povetkin is a very strong opponent, whom I definitely will not underestimate,' the 32-year-old told the official website www.klitschko.com.
'That we are both Olympic champions (Klitschko won in Atlanta in 1996) speaks for itself.
'The fans will witness a great heavyweight fight. I am really looking forward to boxing again in the SAP Arena.
'I have become world champion there twice and the fans from the region are unique.
'The atmosphere in the hall was amazing at both of my previous appearances.'
Povetkin, 29, insisted though he would take the Ukrainian's title.
'I will snatch the world title from Klitschko,' he said. 'Now I am here. I am the future.'
Klitschko's older brother Vitali beat Samuel Peter last week to win the WBC version of the heavyweight title.
