There will be 11 new champions confirmed at the National Youth Championships finals at the National Stadium in Dublin tonight.
Ruairi Dalton will be aiming to bounce back from losing out in the 2008 Irish and Ulster senior finals.
The 17-year-old, from the St John's club in Antrim, takes on Crumlin's Michael Stevens in the flyweight Division.
The St Anne's club in Mayo meanwhile, are guaranteed one title from this evening's proceedings after club-mates Ray Moylett and Martin McDonagh made it through to the 60kg lightweight decider.
Ulster senior light heavyweight champion, Tommy McCarthy, who won the 2007 Best Youth award at the IABA awards night in January, will compete in the 81kg final following a second round stoppage of Connamara's Ciaran O'Griofa last weekend.
McCarthy meets Stephen Ward in an all-Antrim dust up, while St Michael's Athy welterweight David Joe Joyce faces Christy Boyle in the 69kg Division.
Joyce took the early route to victory in last Saturday's semi-final after knocking out Conrad Cummins with a beautifully executed right and left combination in the second round.
Tyrone McCullagh is also through to the finals following an impressive win over Alan Phelan and will face Waterford's Bernard McDonagh at bantamweight.
Gary Molloy and Declan Geraghty will get proceedings under way, while Darren Cruise and John Stokes will bring the curtain down on a championship that has already given a good indication that the future of Irish amateur boxing is in good hands.
Matthew O'Sullivan, David Barrett, Patrick J Ward, Jamie Kavanagh, Luke Cadden and Ross Lacey will also be in action tonight.
Boxing begins at 7.30pm.
