Katie Taylor beat Tatiana Bondareva in the quarter-finals of an international tournament in Stupino, Russia today to guarantee herself at least a bronze medal.
The 20-year-old reigning world and European lightweight champion from the Bray boxing club defeated the Russian 12-6 over three rounds.
The victory arrived just 24 hours after she outclassed Turkey's Gulsum Tatar 16-5.
Taylor will be back in the ring tomorrow, for a semi-final clash with Ukrainian Alexandra Sidorenko.
