John Duddy's bout with Prince Arron in Dublin on Saturday night will go ahead despite a weigh-in scare involving the little-known Englishman today.

The 19-year-old was two pounds over the middleweight limit but, after a workout, he made the weight an hour later.

Unbeaten Derryman Duddy, who weighed in at 11st 4lbs, will be expected to claim his 22nd straight victory in the National Stadium bout.

The contest could be Duddy's final bout before a world title challenge against WBC champion Kelly Pavlik next year.
