The Irish Amateur Boxing Association has confirmed that 19 nations, including Ireland, will compete in the EU Championships at the National Stadium in Dublin from 17-25 June.
Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, France, England, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Scotland, Spain, Slovakia, Turkey, Wales and Ireland will take part.
Irish light heavyweight Ken Egan, from the Neilstown club in Dublin, will be targeting his third medal on the trot at the tournament, having won bronze and gold at the last two EU Championships.
The President of the World Boxing Association (AIBA), Dr Ching-Kuo Wu will be a special guest of the Irish Amateur Boxing Association for the South Circular Road tournament.
Meanwhile, the IABA will host a four nation Round Robin Cadet tournament at the Stadium next weekend.
Ireland, Germany, Sweden and Lithuania will compete in the three-day, beginning next Friday.
