Ulster bantamweight champ Ryan Lindberg advanced from his National Senior Boxing Championships semi-final after a hard fought victory (23-17) over Carl Frampton at the National Stadium.
The southpaw had to endure a standing count after he was hit by a flurry of punches from Midland White City ace Frampton at the end of the third round.
Lindberg will now meet either Kevin Fennesssy or TJ Doheny in next Friday's 54Kg final at the Stadium.
Lindberg will be joined in next weekend's finals by lightweight Paddy Barnes from the Holy Family club after Barnes chalked up a convincing 16-2 over Kilcullen's Gary McDonagh.
Defending champion Eric Donovan also progressed following a high tempo featherweight victory over Willie Casey from Limerick.
Donovan could now meet his fellow St Michael's Athy club-mate David Oliver Joyce in next Fridays final if Joyce can see off the challenge of Ross Hickey this evening.
Lightweight John Joe Joyce became the second St Michael's Athy man to make it through to the deciders after recording a convincing win over Karl Crawley and Aodh Carlyle stopped Eamon Touhey in round three.
Middleweight Darren Sutherland made a welcome return to competitive action following the eye injury he received in a senior international versus Russia last May.
The St Saviours man wasted no time getting back into the swing of things forcing Edward Healy into a standing count in the first, and two standing counts in the third before the ref stopped the contest.
St Matthew's heavyweight Ian Tims edged out Drimnagh's Jimmy Sweeney and Anthony Crampton progressed from his super heavyweight contest with Martin Sweeney.
