Ricky Hatton will target a summer super-fight against lightweight great Jose Luis Castillo after realising his dream of contesting a world title on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Manchester 'Hitman' has mapped out a blockbusting 2007, starting with a challenge for his old IBF light-welterweight title against unbeaten Colombian Juan Urango on 20 January.

Castillo - who made his name in two epic battles with Diego Corrales - will appear on Hatton's undercard at the Paris Casino, with the deal for a meeting between the pair already tentatively done.

Hatton said: 'With the Castillo fight now in the pipeline, there are some super fights out there for me and I could not be happier in my career.

'A lot of people say I cannot look past this fight but of course I can, because I do not want my dream fight to come unstuck so it can give me extra motivation.

'I don't just want to fight in Las Vegas once. I want to fight here two, three or four times, and Urango is in the way of me doing that. I am living the dream and I don't want it to stop.'

But Hatton insists he is not under-estimating the threat of the unbeaten champion, who claimed the title in an upset win over Naoufel Ben Rabah last June.

Hatton added: 'Urango is like a mini Mike Tyson - he never takes a backward step and he is a big puncher. Those are the fights you want to be involved in because you know they will be explosive.'

Hatton will be challenging for the same title he wrested from the great Kostya Tszyu in June 2005, before being stripped of it prior to his move up to welterweight to fight Luis Collazo in May.

Despite his tough points victory earning Hatton a world title at a second weight, the close call persuaded the Mancunian to return to his favoured lower weight category.

Hatton added: 'Years ago, (New York arena) Madison Square Garden was considered the best boxing (venue) in the world, but the biggest fights and the glamour are all in Las Vegas now.

'I first stepped into the ring in the Recreation Centre in Hattersley and now I am topping the bill in Las Vegas where all the greats and all my heroes have fought over the years.

'It doesn't need me to tell you how exciting it all is. From day one, I believed I was destined to fight at these venues and now I am sure I will produce the performance to match the occasion.'
