Ireland's Andy Murray has lost his bout at the World Boxing Championships in Thailand this afternoon. Murray was defeated 28-9 by his Turkish opponent in his lightweight fight.
Meanwhile earlier this morning, Wicklow's James Moore got Ireland's boxers back on track with victory at the World Amateur Championships in Thailand this morning. The Arklow native, who was a bronze medallist two years ago at the World Championships in Belfast, won his welterweight bout on the twenty-point rule.
