WBO super-middleweight champion Joe Calzaghe looks set to move up a division after failing to find suitable candidates to defend his title.
Calzaghe will fight American Tocker Pudwill in Newcastle tomorrow night but is soon likely to make the step up to light-heavyweight in an attempt to secure some major league fights.
'I believe I will be a better fighter if I step up. My hand-speed would be a great asset at light-heavyweight and if you take Roy Jones out of the equation it is a division which is distinctly average,' said the 30-year old Welshman.
