Scott Harrison is confident he will become the undisputed featherweight champion of the world but maintains the fast cars and money won't get in the way of his dreams. The Glasgow fighter is set to face Northern Ireland's Wayne McCullough if he can take the WBO title from Argentina's Julio Pablo Chacon at the Braehead Arena on October 19.
He has also been handed an even bigger incentive, with Frank Warren lining up the best from over the Atlantic, including Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera and Junior Jones. But Harrison is far from overawed by the prospect of facing such giants of world boxing.
"I'm just focussed on what I'm doing myself. I can beat anybody. I'm strong, I'm ready to fight and I'm looking to knock people out in the first round and in the last round," said Harrison. I believe I'm the best featherweight out there and I will prove it on the night," said Harrison.
"I believe I am up there with the best in the world and I'm focussed on one fight which is Chacon, but if people want to talk about other fighters then I believe I can beat them. Chacon is a dangerous fighter, but the Cambuslang hope does not envisage any problems on the night," added the fighter.
