Following three successive defeats to Notre Dame during the season, revenge was sweet for St Vincent’s, defeating Notre Dame 115-84 for the 2003 National Championship title.

A superb second quarter performance from Mike Chadwick saw St Vincent’s pull away, leaving Notre Dame trailing for the remainder of the game.

In the women’s final, it was a brave effort from St Paul’s, going up against the Cup, Superleague and now, National Champions as University of Limerick celebrated the hat-trick in a 70-56 victory over the visitors.
