Star remain in control

Another victory over Mardyke UCC Demons this weekend, allows Star of the Sea maintain their poll position on the Superleague table. Notre Dame were forced into two periods of extra-time to keep their title hopes alive in a 129-120 victory over Dart Killester, while Neptune defeated Tolka Rovers 102-85 to stay in the running.

In the women’s Superleague, the battle for a place in the top four heats up, with victories for Meteors and Drimnagh helping their campaigns. Mercy Coolock became the women’s All Ireland Club Champions in UL, while St Vincent’s defeated Moycullen to take the men’s honours.
