Limerick take Women's title

There were double title celebrations for the University of Limerick following a 73-55 victory over Waterford Wildcats to seal the 2003 ESB Women's Superleague title. It is a historic first league title for the club, with the awesome Michelle Aspell contributing 27-points to their victory.

In the men’s Superleague, the run of Mardyke UCC Demons was brought to a halt, going down 78-90 to Neptune on Friday night and 69-79 against Sx3 Star on Sunday.

St Vincent’s league campaign was upset when they were defeated 94-77 by BurgerKing Limerick, while Hibernian UCD had a mixed weekend, going down 88-86 to Notre Dame, but defeating Gleneagle Lakers 81-108.
