Notre Dame joined Star of the Sea at the top of the ESB Men's Superleague after they registered two victories at the weekend. The Dublin side first beat Tolka Rovers 102-93 and followed that up with a 90-78 win over Tralee side Frosties Tigers.
Elsewhere, Mardyke UCC Demons produced a poor display ahead of their Cup semi-final, losing to St Vincent's 61-66, and Gleneagle Lakers' losing streak continued when they went down 75-84 to Burgerking Limerick.
Meanwhile in the ESB Women's Superleague, Sasha Meteors delivered the shock of the weekend, overcoming an understrength Tolka Rovers side 72-90, making retention of the Superleague title very difficult.
