Dart Killester denied Waterford Crystal their first ESB Superleague title with a surprise 76-73 victory over the championship favourites in Waterford. Waterford will get another chance to claim the title when they meet Big Al's next weekend, whose own top eight hopes took a knock with a 87-70 defeat to Esat Business Demons. Elsewhere, Star of the Sea won two out of three games over the weekend.
Meanwhile, UCC won the Men's Cup in the Intervarsities weekend in Jordanstown, while the ladies of UL were defeated in the final by UCD.
