Limerick knock Crystal from top spot

Burger King Limerick knocked Waterford Crystal from the top spot of the Men's Superleague table this weekend after defeating them for the second time this season. Having held top position since November, Waterford surrendered their advantage following an 84-94 defeat to Limerick.

Meanwhile, St Vincent's had a mixed weekend with a 103-83 win over Big Al's Notre Dame, followed by a 91-79 defeat to Hibernian UCD Marian on Sunday. Both Kerry teams rested this weekend after their midweek derby, while Neptune ran out winners in the Cork derby, defeating Demons 73-69.

In the women's league, Tolka Rovers overcame University of Limerick 76-63. Cup champions Killester were defeated by Bausch & Lomb Wildcats 65-55, while Glanmire suffered another defeat to Sasha Meteors, going down 66-36.
