Paralympics: Disgraced Spanish coach quits

A player and a coach of the Spanish Paralympic basketball team have resigned as coaches of the Madrid-based Estudiantes club over the scandal surrounding the team Spain sent to the Sydney Games in October. Marcos Laborde, a coach of the Paralympic team, and Enrique Castro, a member of the gold medal-winning squad, have quit their posts with the Estudiantes junior teams, the club said.

Earlier this week the Spanish Paralympic Committee ordered the Paralympic basketball team to return its medals after a report confirming 10 of them had no handicap.
