Katie Kirk is joined in studio by Derval O'Rourke and Rob Heffernan, while the two Davids - Gillick and Matthews - dial in from Tokyo to celebrate Kate O'Connor's remarkable heptathlon silver medal at the World Athletics Championships.

David Matthews pinpoints just where the 24-year-old has improved in this season of seasons, while David Gillick describes the atmosphere inside the National Stadium as O'Connor courageously recorded a 800m personal best with a "bockety knee".

The pair also reflected on Cian McPhillips' own national record as he finished a superb fourth in the 800m final.

Derval and Rob looked back on a mostly positive championships for the Irish team, despite the disappointment of the 400m relay this afternoon.

From "Superhero" Kate O'Connor and how she can inspire the next generation of female athletes, to the strong reactions inspired by Noah Lyles, there was much to discuss.
