In-form Sarah Lavin has added the 100m national record to her recently acquired 100m hurdle Irish record.
The Limerick sprinter posted a time of 11:27 to break Phil Healy's 2018 mark by one hundreth of a second in Switzerland this evening.
Lavin finished second to Italy’s Zaynab Dosso who crossed in 11:15.
It comes hot on the heels of her 100 metre hurdles PB set at the recent World Championships in Budapest, where Lavin fell agonisingly shy of a place in the final, but managed to smash the national record of Derval O’Rourke with a blistering time of 12.62.
