It's the opening day of action at the World Championships in Budapest where medal contender Ciara Mageean will be in 1500m action.

A significant number of Team Ireland members will be in action across the day, starting with David Kenny in the men’s 20km race walk final in the morning, with 1500m runners Andrew Coscoran, Luke McCann and Nick Griggs joining heptathlete Kate O’Connor in the evening session.
