Rhasidat Adeleke broke her own Irish 200m record with a blistering time of 22.59 in Texas yesterday.
The double U20 European 100m and 200m champion finished a close second to Laila Owens while representing Texas University at the Dual Meet late last night.

It marks another impressive outing this year for the 19-year-old, who has already broken the Irish 60m (7.17) and 200m (22.85) indoor records in recent months.
The Tallaght AC star also boasts a 36.87 for 300m indoors, which was the fastest time ever by an Irishwoman over the distance indoors, and also the fastest-ever by a European teenager.
