Irish sprinter Leon Reid has been charged with drug offences in his native United Kingdom.
He appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court last month with three other men to face charges relating to a police investigation into the large scale supply of drugs, possession of firearms and ammunition, and money laundering.
Reid, 26, has been charged with conspiracy to supply class A (cocaine), permitting premises to be used in the production of class A (crack cocaine), concealing criminal property, and acquiring criminal property.
All four men are due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on 12 May.
Reid transferred to represent Ireland in 2018 and that year won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games in the 200 metres when running for Northern Ireland.
