Thomas Barr delivered his best performance of the season so far as he finished second in the 400m hurdles at the Diamond League in Oslo.
The European bronze medallist and Olympic finalist's time of 49.11 was three tenths of a second faster than when he placed third at the Shanghai Diamond League in May.
The race was won by world champion Karsten Warholm (Norway) in a new European Record 47.33 in, with Barr putting in his signature late-race surge to pip Kyron McMaster (49.12) into third.
