Canadian athlete Natasha Yaremczuk has been banned for 14 months after she tested positive for prohibited substances during the 2017 Dublin Marathon.
The 38-year-old former triathlon World Cup winner finished 10th in Dublin last October but subsequently tested positive for stimulant DMBA and fat burner Higenamine, the same substance which led to a temporary ban for former Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho in 2016.
Sport Ireland say Yaremczuk "promptly admitted the violation" and has now been given a backdated 14-month ban, which expires on 29 December 2018.
Yaremczuk, who won the Reykjavik marathon in August last year, was also stripped of her 10th place result in Dublin.
