Thomas Barr was all smiles as he was presented with his bronze medal for the 400m hurdles at the European Championships on Friday night, the first Irish male sprint medal in the history of the event.
Barr finished third in Thursday's final behind Noway's Karsten Warholm, with Cuban-born Turkey athlete Yasmani Copello in second.
The Waterford man ran a season's best 48.31, which was the fastest he has run since finishing fourth in the 2016 Olympic final in Rio.
