Ireland’s John Travers has qualified for the 1,500 metres final at the World University Games in Korea.
In wet conditions, the 24-year-old finished in second place in today’s round one in a time of 3:44.28.
The Dubliner will now compete in Friday’s final at 12.15pm Irish time.
Meanwhile, Thomas Barr progressed to the semi-final of the 400m hurdles after winning his heat with a time of 49.96.
