Fresh from their gold-medal winning performances on Sunday at the 17th European Cross Country Championships in Albufeira, Portugal, Ireland’s six-strong men’s under-23 team will be arriving home to Dublin on Monday morning.
The team will return him along with the rest of the 40-strong Ireland squad.
Team manager Anne Keenan-Buckley said: ‘We’re looking forward to getting home and after a successful weekend. We’re delighted the team is able to bring home some gold medals.’
The Ireland team are expected to land in Dublin airport at 9am tomorrow morning on board Ryanair flight FR 7033.
