Paul Hession enhanced his reputation as one of the leading 200metre athletes in the world by securing third place in the event at the Diamond League meeting in Rome on Thursday night.
Hession clocked a time of 20.60 to claim third spot, behind Wallace Spearmon and Walter Dix.
Dix claimed victory in 19.86 seconds.
The next 200 metre race in the Diamond League will take place next month.
