Derval O'Rourke has qualified for the semi-finals of the womens 100 metre hurdles at World Athletics Championships in Berlin after finishing in second place in her heat.
She finished in a season's best tiime of 12.86 seconds. Australia's Sally McLellan won the heat in a time of 12.82.
O'Rourke only need to finish in the top four to qualify.
The fastest time posted was by America's Dawn Harper in 12.70sec.
The next round will take place on Wednesday at 5.45pm, with the final scheduled to take place later that night.
