Michael Herlihy has won the Bord Gais Energy Cork City Marathon in a time of 2 hours 30 minutes and 36 seconds.
The 28-year-old from Charleville won the event at the first time of asking, while the first female over the line was last years winner, 50-year-old Lucy Brennan from Sligo.
