Galway City Harriers veteran Gerry Ryan has won the men's title at Saturday’s adidas Frank Duffy 10 Mile, with Pauline Curley of Tullamore Harriers taking the ladies title.
In a race that saw a record number of almost 3,000 participants, Ryan finishd well ahead of the pack in a time of 50.35 to claim the winning spot.
Sergui Threa of Clonliffe Harriers took second place in a time of 52.04, closely followed by Alan O'Shea of Bantry AC in a time of 52.54.
The women's race saw Tullamore Harrier's Pauline Curley claim the top spot and retain her title in a time of 58.15, followed by Veronica Colleran of Ennis Track Club in 1:01:48.
The third woman past the line was Barbara Sanchez of Raheny Shamrocks in a time 1:01:53.
