Four Irish athletes won gold medals at the British AAA Championships and UKA European Championship Trials held in the SportCity Arena, Manchester over the weekend.
Deirdre Ryan of DSD set a new Irish record of 1.92m in winning the high jump.
Colin Griffin on Ballinamore won the men's walk in a championship best performance of 19:43.40, while Anne Loughnane of Craughwell won the women's 5000m walk in 22:54.00.
Eileen O'Keeffe of Kilkenny City Harriers won the hammer with a throw of 65.62m.
