American sprinter Marion Jones and her boyfriend, world record holder Tim Montgomery, will run their first 100 metres of the season on the Caribbean island of Martinique on Saturday.
Jones and Montgomery are also considering May meetings in Mexico and Paris and a June competition in Milan.
Jones, the winner of five Olympic medals at the 2000 Games in Sydney but none in Athens last year, has been unimpressive in two races this season.
She finished a shocking last in a 400-metres race at the Mount San Antonio Relays in Walnut, California, on April 17. She timed 55.03 seconds, more than 3.5 seconds behind the winner.
A week later she anchored a 4x200 metres relay team that was disqualified after finishing first because of a zone violation by a team mate at the Kansas Relays in Lawrence, Kansas.
Montgomery's only race has been a 4x100 metres relay, his team finishing fifth at the Mount San Antonio Relays.
Both runners have been linked to the BALCO (Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative) doping scandal. The US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) has accused Montgomery of doping violations and he is awaiting a hearing before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in June.
Jones has been under scrutiny by USADA although she has not been charged, has denied using performance-enhancing drugs and, like Montgomery, has never failed a doping test.
BALCO founder Victor Conte accused Jones in December of using performance-enhancing drugs. She has filed a $25 million defamation suit against him.
