Ireland's Sonia O'Sullivan has set a new 10-mile world record after a blistering win in today's BUPA Great South Run in Portsmouth.
The Cobh woman won the race in 51 minutes, beating Colleen Ceruck's four-year-old record by a massive 16 seconds.
O'Sullivan won silver medals in the European Championship 5,000m and 10,000m last month.
