Keenan-Buckley and O'Dowd claim Rás wins

40-year-old Ann Keenan-Buckley claimed a memorable victory in the Women's Rás na hÉireann this afternoon at Dunleer Athletic Club, Co Louth, defeating the American Champion Priscilla Hein by 11 seconds, with Rosemary Ryan just a second further back in third place.

The Men's race over 8 kilometres was won by England's Matt O'Dowd, who was just a couple of strides clear of Ethiopian Dagne Alemu, with Seamus Power the leading Irishman home in third place just a second behind the Ethiopian.
